Is there a place for Heaven in Jain Grove Pravesh Puja?
In Jain Dharma, Heaven is not the final goal of any puja or spiritual practice. The ultimate aim is moksha — liberation from karma and the cycle of birth and death.
If by Jain Griha Pravesh Puja you mean a house-entry puja, then such rituals are generally done for:
- auspicious beginnings,
- peace and harmony in the home,
- purification of the place,
- and remembering the path of dharma.
In that context, heaven may be mentioned only as a temporary auspicious state, but it is not the main objective. Jain teaching always places samyak darshan, samyak gyan, samyak charitra, and moksha above heavenly pleasures.
So the short answer is:
Yes, heaven can be thought of as an auspicious worldly result, but it has no central place as the ultimate purpose in Jain puja. The true Jain aim is moksha, not heaven.
