Does jainism believe in manifestation
In Jainism, not in the New Age sense of “manifestation”.
Jain Dharma teaches that:
- results come through karma, not by wish alone,
- right effort (purusharth) is necessary,
- and thoughts, vows, conduct, and inner purity strongly affect one’s future.
So if by “manifestation” you mean simply attracting things by positive thinking, that is not the Jain view.
But if you mean intentions supported by right action, discipline, and karmic causes, then Jainism does accept that one’s inner state and efforts help shape outcomes.
In short:
- Wish alone: not enough in Jainism
- Effort + karma + right conduct: yes, this matters greatly
Jainism emphasizes self-transformation, not magical manifestation.
