Can you take diksha in sadedati period
In Jain Dharma, diksha is taken by the decision of the Guru and the Sangh, based on readiness, vairagya, and proper observance of Jain discipline.
Sade Sati is not a Jain scriptural rule for diksha. So, there is no Jain prohibition that says diksha cannot be taken during Sade Sati.
What matters in Jainism is:
- sincere renunciation
- right intention
- guidance of the Guru
- suitability according to Jain maryada and tradition
If the Guru and Sangh accept, diksha can be taken.
