Does kundli play a major role in lives
In Jain Dharma, kundli is not considered the ultimate controller of life.
Jain philosophy teaches that a soul’s experience is mainly shaped by its own karma, not by astrology or the stars. Kundli may be seen by some people as a secondary worldly tool, but it does not override karma, right conduct, self-effort, and spiritual discipline.
So, from a Jain view:
- Karma is primary
- Purusharth (right effort) is important
- Kundli is not the final truth
- Spiritual progress depends on one’s own conduct
A Jain should place more faith in:
- Ahimsa
- Satya
- Aparigraha
- Samyak Darshan, Samyak Jnana, and Samyak Charitra
So, kundli may have some social or cultural importance for some people, but it does not play a major role in the Jain understanding of life’s deepest outcomes.
