From the Jain point of view, a person should follow the path that leads to samyak darshan, samyak jnān, and samyak charitra—right faith, right knowledge, and right conduct.

If someone is already a Jain, there is no Jain rule that says one should adopt Hinduism. In Jain Dharma, the important thing is to live with ahimsa, aparigraha, satya, and self-discipline and to progress toward liberation.

Religious choice is a deeply personal matter, but in Jain understanding, one should not change faith casually, under pressure, or without true conviction. If a person feels spiritually drawn to another path, that is a personal decision; otherwise, a Jain should remain firm in Jain Dharma and practice it sincerely.

In short: a Jain person does not need to adopt Hinduism according to Jain principles. The Jain path itself is complete for spiritual progress.
