I HAVE A PHALLUS WHICH I USE SHOULD I STOP AS A JAIN??
In Jain Dharma, having a male body is not sinful. What matters is how you use your body, mind, and senses.
If by “use” you mean sexual activity or self-stimulation, then Jain teachings generally encourage restraint and brahmacharya.
- For monks and nuns: complete celibacy is required.
- For householders: discipline, moderation, faithfulness, and control of passions are emphasized.
So, yes, if you want to live more in line with Jain principles, you should reduce and ultimately stop actions driven by sensual attachment and desire. The Jain goal is to weaken passions, not feed them.
If you are asking in a broader sense: do not feel guilty simply for having a body. Jainism focuses on purity of conduct, self-control, and non-attachment.
