According to Jain tradition, King Shrenik (also known as Bimbisara) is believed to be reborn as the future 23rd Tirthankar in the next cycle (avasarpini) of time. In that future birth, he will be known as Simandhar Swami. Thus, the name of King Shrenik in his future birth as a Tirthankar will be Simandhar Swami.
