How much money a jain can earn
In Jain Dharma, there is no fixed limit on how much money a Jain can earn.
A Jain may earn as much as needed through honest, non-violent, and ethical means, but the earning should not involve:
- हिंसा or harm to living beings
- cheating, fraud, or dishonesty
- exploitation
- excessive greed or attachment
The Jain ideal is:
- Right livelihood
- Less greed, more contentment
- Use wealth for dharma, family duty, charity, and support of good causes
- Do not become attached to money
So, a Jain can earn money, but the real principle is how it is earned and how it is used.
In short: earn with purity, keep limited attachment, and use wealth responsibly.
