Does jain teaching acknowledge neminath being related to krishna?
Yes. In Jain tradition, Neminath Bhagwan is considered a cousin of Shri Krishna.
According to Jain texts, Neminath was born in the Yadu dynasty, the same lineage associated with Krishna. Krishna is described as the son of Vasudev, while Neminath is described as the son of Samudravijay and the brother of Krishna’s father’s family line. So Jain teaching does acknowledge a family relationship between Neminath and Krishna.
At the same time, Jainism does not regard Krishna as a Tirthankar. Neminath is revered as the 22nd Tirthankar, while Krishna is respected as a great, powerful figure in Jain history, but not as a liberated spiritual teacher.
