Is moksha possible in this birth?
Yes, moksha can be attained in this very life only in the sense that one may realize Kevaljñān in this birth; but final moksha happens after the body ends, when all karmas are completely destroyed and the soul rises to Siddhashila.
In Jain Dharma:
- Kevaljñān = complete, perfect knowledge attained while living.
- Moksha = liberation of the soul from all karmas and rebirth.
So, a soul may become Kevali in this birth, and then attain moksha at the end of that same life. This is the highest possibility described in Jainism.
