What if the girl is manglik
In Jain Dharma, manglik dosh is not considered the deciding factor for marriage by itself. Marriage should be based more on guna, conduct, family values, and compatibility of sanskar.
If someone is called manglik, Jain families may still choose to:
- check the janma kundali carefully,
- look at overall matching,
- and do appropriate shanti or remedial vidhi if they follow that tradition.
But from a Jain viewpoint, the main focus should remain on:
- samyak conduct
- good character
- ahimsa
- mutual respect
- mental and spiritual harmony
So, being manglik does not automatically mean marriage should be rejected. In Jain tradition, it is treated as one factor among many, not the only one.
