i started listening to dev vandan every morning, what other morning prayers or rituals i cn practice?

That is a very good practice. In Jain Dharma, after Dev Vandana, you can keep your morning sadhana simple, pure, and focused on bhakti, self-discipline, and awareness.

Some good morning prayers and rituals are:

    1. Navkar Mantra

    - Chanting the Navkar Mantra in the morning is one of the best practices. - It brings humility, peace, and remembrance of the Panch Parmeshthi.

    1. Pratikraman bhavna

    - Spend a few minutes reflecting: - What mistakes happened yesterday? - Did I hurt any living being in thought, word, or deed? - How can I improve today? - Even a short morning repentance and resolution is very valuable.

    1. Stavan / Stuti

    - You may sing or recite stutis of the Tirthankars. - Commonly recited devotional prayers include: - Navkar Mantra - Arihant stavan - Bhaktamar Stotra if you know it - Other simple Jain stutis from your tradition

    1. Guruvandan or Guru smaran

    - Remember the virtues of the Sadhu, Sadhvi, Acharya, and Upadhyaya. - This strengthens right conduct and respect for the path.

    1. Samayik bhavna

    - Sit quietly for a few minutes in meditation. - Observe the mind, reduce attachment, and stay in inner calm. - If possible, practice formal Samayik according to your tradition.

    1. Jin darshan or Jin puja

    - If you have a Jin temple or a home derasar, you may do darshan with devotion. - In some traditions, simple jal puja, chandan puja, or other prescribed pujas are done in the morning.

    1. Dharma bhavna / daily resolution

    - Take a vow for the day: - to speak truthfully, - to avoid anger, - to reduce harm, - to control greed, - to eat and act with mindfulness.

    1. Swadhyay

    - Read a small amount of Jain scripture or a short text daily. - Even a few minutes of study is powerful.

A very simple Jain morning routine can be:

    • Wake up with pure thoughts
    • Wash and sit quietly
    • Chant Navkar Mantra
    • Do Dev Vandana
    • Offer a few minutes of prayer or stavan
    • Reflect on conduct for the day
    • End with a vow for ahimsa, satya, and aparigraha

If you want to keep it very practical, the most important three are: Navkar Mantra, Dev Vandana, and a short self-reflection.

In Jain Dharma, the spirit matters more than quantity. Even a few minutes done with sincerity and reverence become meaningful.
