Can i take prayashchit of 2 samayik itself for breaking the vow of bhramcharya as i cant talk about this to anyone even if my guru
In Jain Dharma, prayashchit is ideally taken from Guru or Acharya, because the type and amount of penance depend on the nature, intention, and seriousness of the transgression.
So for breaking the vow of brahmacharya, taking “2 samayik” on your own should not be considered a full substitute for proper prayashchit unless that is specifically advised by a knowledgeable Jain guru. In Jain tradition, self-confession, repentance, and proper pratikraman are important, but the final penance is usually निर्धारित by the Guru.
If you cannot speak it out to anyone, then at minimum you should do this sincerely:
- Alochana in your heart: honestly admit the mistake to yourself and to Bhagwan
- Deep repentance with shame and regret for the fault
- Resolve not to repeat it
- Pratikraman and samayik with pure intention
- If possible later, take formal prayashchit from a Guru when you are able
Important Jain principle: hiding out of fear is different from protecting privacy, but the fault should still be purified through repentance and proper prayashchit.
So the short answer is: No, 2 samayik by itself is not the proper or complete prayashchit for breaking brahmacharya vow, unless a Guru has specifically given it. If you are unable to disclose details, do sincere internal repentance and pratikraman now, and seek proper penance when possible.
