In Jain dharma, attachment (rāga) is a bondage of karma. So strong attachment to your mother is not a cause of moksha.

For the heavenly realm (devaloka):

• It is possible only if punya karma is strong.
• But deep attachment, obsession, or grief at the time of death can disturb the soul’s state and may lead to lower rebirth, not heaven.
• Simple love or respect for a mother is different from mohāttva. In Jainism, the problem is not natural affection alone, but clinging and delusion.
