No.
In Jainism, attachment (rāga/moha) is not pure love, and affection is only pure when it is completely free from possessiveness, clinging, ego, and expectation. If any subtle “mine-ness” remains, it is still not fully pure.
So the strict Jain answer is:
- Attachment = bondage
- Pure love = selfless goodwill, without possessiveness
In Jain dharma, true purity means non-attachment.
