Can I go to derasar and attend puja and Dhaka mahotsav after 64 hours of periods if my bleeding has stopped completely
In many Jain traditions, if the bleeding has completely stopped and you have bathed/are clean, you may go to derasar and attend puja. But this depends on the custom of your specific temple and community.
A simple way to follow Jain maryada is:
- Do not go while bleeding is still happening
- Wait until it has fully stopped
- Take a bath and keep shuddhi
- Follow the rule of your derasar, upashray, or guru-parampara if they have a specific restriction
So, after 64 hours, if bleeding has fully stopped, it is generally acceptable in many Jain communities to attend, but local temple custom is the final guideline.
If your temple follows a stricter rule, then you should respect that maryada.
