Which mantra is to be recited
In Jain Dharma, the most important mantra to recite is the Navkar Mantra.
Navkar Mantra: णमो अरिहंताणं णमो सिद्धाणं णमो आयरियाणं णमो उवज्झायाणं णमो लोए सव्वसाहूणं
Meaning: I bow to the Arihants, Siddhas, Acharyas, Upadhyayas, and all Sadhus and Sadhvis.
This mantra is considered the foremost, universal, and most sacred mantra in Jainism. It does not ask for worldly desires; it offers pure reverence to the five supreme beings.
If you want, I can also give:
- the meaning line by line,
- the method of recitation, or
- the different Jain prayers/mantras used in daily practice.
