If I change clothes with my mother in one room is it a sin and we are naked in private no attachment no sexual desire nothing no we are not swapping each other's clothes we are wearing our own just e are changing in a room wearing our own clothes i am not
In Jain Dharma, intent matters a lot, and modesty and control of the senses are valued.
If you and your mother are changing clothes in the same room, and there is no sexual intent, no attachment, and no wrong feeling, then it is not the same as a sinful or immoral act in the severe sense.
Still, from a Jain point of view:
- Being naked in front of others is generally not encouraged
- Modesty and privacy are preferred
- Even with family, it is better to keep proper covering and decorum
- The mind should remain pure, respectful, and restrained
So, it is not necessarily a great sin if there is no bad intention, but it is better to avoid nudity in front of anyone if possible, including in family, because Jain conduct values shyness, restraint, and discipline.
In short: No wrong intention means no serious sin, but Jain ethics still prefers privacy and modesty.
