What if your kundli doesnt support diksha but you have vairagya
In Jain Dharma, vairagya is spiritually far more important than a kundli.
If a person has true detachment, inner purity, and readiness for renunciation, then that is the real sign to look at. A kundli may be considered by some families or traditions for practical guidance, but it is not the ultimate measure of eligibility for diksha. The real test is:
- samyak darshan and right understanding
- strong vairagya
- capacity for brahmacharya, discipline, and self-restraint
- willingness to follow the five mahavratas
- mental and physical steadiness for the life of a sadhu or sadhvi
If the kundli is said not to support diksha, but the vairagya is genuine, then the proper Jain approach is:
- Do not reject the vairagya
- Do not rush into diksha without proper guidance
- Seek the judgment of a qualified guru or acharya
- Continue spiritual practice as a shravak/shravika until the right time and conditions come
In Jain view, moksha-marg is based on right faith, right knowledge, and right conduct, not on astrology alone. If renunciation is truly arising in the soul, that itself is spiritually meaningful.
So the simple answer is: kundli may be secondary; vairagya is primary. But diksha should be accepted only when it is also supported by proper guru-margdarshan and inner readiness.
