I have heard that many saints says, meditate into your consciousness, look inward, awaken your consciousness and manifest through your concious.d
Yes. In Jain Dharma, this teaching is very close to the path of self-realization.
The Jain way says:
- Turn inward: stop running only after external objects and look at the soul (jīva / ātmā).
- Awaken consciousness: recognize that the true self is pure consciousness, not the body, ego, or possessions.
- Meditate on the self: through dhyāna, samyak darśan, and self-awareness, one experiences the soul’s true nature.
- Manifest purity through consciousness: in Jain understanding, this means allowing the soul’s natural qualities to shine:
In Jainism, this is not about creating something new from outside. It is about removing karma and revealing what the soul already is.
So the essence is:
Look inward, know the self, remain aware, and live in the soul’s true nature.
That is a deeply Jain teaching.
