Can I meet my mother in heaven
In Jain Dharma, heaven (devalok) is a temporary birth, not a permanent place. Whether you will meet your mother again depends on both souls’ karma and the type of rebirth each one receives.
- If your mother has taken moksha, then there is no rebirth, so a meeting in heaven will not happen.
- If she is reborn in a deva realm and you also attain a similar birth, then you may come into contact again due to karmic connection.
- But in Jainism, family relationships are not permanent; the soul moves according to karma, not by worldly attachment.
So, the Jain view is: it is not certain that you will meet your mother in heaven. A reunion is possible only if karmic conditions align, but it should not be assumed as guaranteed.
If you wish, I can also explain this from the Jain view of rebirth and karma in simple words.
