I have adeshwar bhagwan and parshwanth bhagwan, in ghar derasar i want o make of adwshwar bhagwan as main idol and on left hand side wall want to place parshwanth bhagwan but do his pratishta what should i do ?
In a ghar derasar, the safest and most respectful approach is:
- Adinath Bhagwan can remain the main murti in the center.
- Parshwanath Bhagwan should also be placed in a respectful, clean, and elevated position.
- A wall placement is generally not ideal for a murti if it makes the Bhagwan look like decoration rather than an object of darshan.
About pratishtha
- Pratishtha is a serious Jain ritual.
- It should not be done casually at home.
- If the Parshwanath murti is new and un-consecrated, then pratishtha should be done only under the guidance of a learned Jain vidhi expert, pujari, or according to your tradition.
- If the murti is already pratishthit, then you should not do pratishtha again.
Practical guidance
If you want both Bhagwans in the derasar:- Keep Adinath Bhagwan as the main idol.
- Place Parshwanath Bhagwan on a separate small asan/stand on the same sacred level or respectfully beside it.
- Keep both in a clean, calm, uncluttered space.
- Avoid placing Parshwanath Bhagwan too low, too high, or like wall decor.
Simple suggestion
If your intention is only to keep Parshwanath Bhagwan for darshan and puja, you may place the murti respectfully without doing pratishtha at home, if your tradition allows. If you want the murti to become a formally installed idol, then pratishtha should be done properly.Best rule: In Jain dharma, Bhagwan should be treated with full reverence, not as decoration.
