Is it said that every soul will attain liberation eventually
In Jainism, every soul has the capacity to attain liberation because the soul’s true nature is pure, conscious, and perfect.
But it is not said that liberation happens automatically to every soul. A soul becomes liberated only by:
- right faith,
- right knowledge,
- right conduct,
- and complete destruction of karmas.
So the correct Jain understanding is:
- Every soul can attain moksha
- No soul is eternally doomed
- Liberation depends on its own efforts and karmic destruction
A liberated soul, once free, remains free forever as a Siddha.
