In Jainism, every soul has the capacity to attain liberation because the soul’s true nature is pure, conscious, and perfect.

But it is not said that liberation happens automatically to every soul. A soul becomes liberated only by:

• right faith,
• right knowledge,
• right conduct,
• and complete destruction of karmas.

So the correct Jain understanding is:

• Every soul can attain moksha
• No soul is eternally doomed
• Liberation depends on its own efforts and karmic destruction

A liberated soul, once free, remains free forever as a Siddha.
