Which stotra we chant before going out
Before going out, the most commonly chanted Jain prayer is the Namokar Mantra (also called Navkar Mantra).
It is chanted for mangal, shanti, and remembrance of the Five Supreme Beings:
णमो अरिहंताणं णमो सिद्धाणं णमो आयरियाणं णमो उवज्झायाणं णमो लोए सव्वसाहूणं
Meaning: I bow to the Arihants, Siddhas, Acharyas, Upadhyays, and all Sadhus.
Some Jains also recite Bhaktamar Stotra or Logassa Sutra before leaving, but the Namokar Mantra is the most universal and widely accepted.
