Is 25th December, a good date for wedding for a Jain and Banya like I follow the Hindu Panchang with my boyfriend family follow the religion so tell me if the wedding is supposed to happen in Nagpur is it a good date according to the Jain?
In Jain tradition, a wedding date is usually considered good only if it matches the Jain Panchang and the specific muhurat for that year. So 25th December is not automatically a good or bad date according to Jainism.
What matters for a Jain wedding is:
- Tithi
- Nakshatra
- Lagna / Muhurat
- Day’s overall auspiciousness
- Family and acharya guidance
For a wedding in Nagpur, the same date can be auspicious in one year and not in another. So I cannot say that 25th December is good for Jain marriage unless the year is known and the Jain Panchang for that year is checked.
