What we say when we do Parikrama of Jain Bhagwan
During Parikrama of Jain Bhagwan, devotees usually keep the mind focused on devotion, reverence, and pure remembrance.
Commonly, one may say or mentally recite:
“Namo Arihantanam” or the full Navkar Mantra:
णमो अरिहंताणं णमो सिद्धाणं णमो आयरियाणं णमो उवज्झायाणं णमो लोए सव्वसाहूणं
Meaning: I bow to the Arihants, Siddhas, Acharyas, Upadhyayas, and all Sadhus.
Some devotees also silently remember:
- Arihant Bhagwan ki Jai
- Jai Jinendra
- Or simply keep quiet and do parikrama with inner devotion
The main thing is bhav — pure भावना, respect, and concentration. Parikrama should be done with humility, not just words.
