Can I meet my mother in heaven.
In Jainism, it may be possible to meet your mother in a heavenly realm only if your karmas lead both souls there and into a similar life there. But heaven is not permanent in Jain Dharma, and family relationships do not remain forever in the same form.
Jainism teaches that:
- the soul takes rebirth according to karma,
- heavenly life is temporary,
- true liberation is moksha, where the soul is free from birth and death,
- in moksha, there is no worldly family bond as we know it.
So the simple answer is: yes, a meeting may be possible in heaven, but it is not guaranteed, and it is not the ultimate goal in Jainism. The highest aim is liberation of the soul.
