How long do I have to boil water for on an ayambil
In ayambil, there is no single fixed number of minutes for boiling water in all Jain traditions.
Generally, water is boiled until it reaches a full boil and then used according to your guru, temple, or local tradition. In many Shwetambar practices, the rule is simply to boil the water properly once and keep it in a clean vessel for the day.
If you are following a specific ayambil vrat from a sthanak or upashray, it is best to follow that exact local niyam.
