parshwanath which aara
In Jainism, Lord Parshwanath, the 23rd Tirthankara, was born and attained liberation (moksha) in the current time cycle known as the fifth Aara (Pancham Aara) of the descending half (Avasarpini) of time. According to Jain cosmology, the 22nd Tirthankara, Neminath, and all earlier Tirthankaras attained moksha in the fourth Aara (Chaturtha Aara), but Parshwanath and Mahavira (the 24th Tirthankara) lived and attained moksha in the fifth Aara.
So, Parshwanath belonged to the fifth Aara of the Avasarpini (descending time cycle).
