Please provide this is a shorter daily pratikraman version with transliteration and meaning

    3 months ago 74

Here is a short daily Pratikraman version in simple transliteration with meaning. This is a brief householder-friendly form; exact wording may vary slightly by Digambar / Shwetambar tradition.

    ---

    Short Daily Pratikraman

    1) Khamemi Savve Jiva

Transliteration: Khamemi savve jiva, savve jiva khamantu me. Metti me savva-bhuesu, veram majjham na kenai.

Meaning: I forgive all living beings, and may all living beings forgive me. May I have friendliness toward all beings, and may I have no enmity with anyone.

    ---

    2) Panch Parmeshthi Namaskaar

Transliteration: Namo Arihantanam Namo Siddhanam Namo Ayariyanam Namo Uvvajjayanam Namo Loe Savva-Sahunam

Meaning: I bow to the Arihants, Siddhas, Acharyas, Upadhyayas, and all Sadhus.

    ---

    3) Iriyavahi / Micchami Dukkadam Bhavna

    Transliteration: Iriyavahiyam padikkamami. Micchami dukkadam.

Meaning: I repent for all harm caused while moving about. If I have hurt any being, may my wrongdoing be forgiven.

    ---

    4) Prayer for Self-Purification

Transliteration: Kayena vacha manasendriyairva, Buddhyatmana va prakriteh svabhavat. Karomi yadyat sakalam parasmai, Narayanayeti samarpayami.

Meaning: Whatever wrong I may have done by body, speech, mind, senses, or nature, I offer that all to the Lord and seek purity.

    ---

    5) Short Introspection

Transliteration: Michchha me dukkadam. Almighty, I repent for all faults.

Meaning: I ask pardon for my mistakes done knowingly or unknowingly.

    ---

    Very Short Daily Practice Order

    1. Bow to the Panch Parmeshthi
    2. Forgive all beings
    3. Repent for mistakes
    4. Resolve to reduce violence, anger, pride, deceit, and greed

    ---

    Short Closing Meaning

    Daily Pratikraman means:
    • self-review
    • repentance
    • forgiveness
    • purification of conduct
    • renewed commitment to Ahimsa, Satya, Aparigraha, and self-control

If you want, I can also give you a super-short 2-minute daily Pratikraman version in easy Gujarati-style transliteration.
