    What are the daily practice to adopt

    In Jain Dharma, the daily practices to adopt are meant to reduce pāpa, increase puṇya, and strengthen ahiṃsā, satya, asteya, brahmacharya, and aparigraha.

    Daily practices

    1. Wake up with awareness

    - Begin the day with a calm and pure mind. - Remember the goal of self-purification.

    1. Pratikraman or self-introspection

    - Reflect on your actions, speech, and thoughts. - Repent for any harm done knowingly or unknowingly.

    1. Namaskar to the Arihants, Siddhas, Acharyas, Upadhyayas, and Sadhus

    - Offer respect to the five supreme beings. - This helps develop humility and right faith.

    1. Practice Ahimsa

    - Avoid harming any living being in thought, word, or deed. - Be careful in walking, eating, speaking, and using water or fire.

    1. Speak truthfully and gently

    - Use words that are truthful, beneficial, and non-hurtful.

    1. Eat mindfully

    - Prefer simple, clean, and non-violent food. - Avoid greed, waste, and unnecessary indulgence.

    1. Limit possessions and desires

    - Practice aparigraha by reducing attachment to things.

    1. Study Jain scriptures or listen to sermons

    - Daily reading of Jain teachings strengthens right understanding.

    1. Meditation and contemplation

    - Spend time in silence, आत्मचिंतन, and focus on the soul.

    1. Service and compassion

    - Help others without ego. - Protect all forms of life.

    1. Observe restraint in conduct

    - Control anger, pride, deceit, and greed. - Cultivate forgiveness, simplicity, and equanimity.

    1. End the day with reflection

    - Review your conduct. - Resolve to improve tomorrow.
