is gati gravity
In Jain Dharma, gati does not mean gravity.
Gati means the state or realm of birth/existence where a soul goes according to its karma. There are four gatis:
- Naraki gati — hellish existence
- Tiryanch gati — animal/plant existence
- Manushya gati — human existence
- Deva gati — heavenly existence
So, gati = destination/state of soul, not a physical force like gravity.
If you want, I can also explain the Jain meaning of gati, dravya, and karma in simple words.
