What is sequence of navangi pooja
Navangi Pooja is performed in 9 parts. The usual sequence is:
- Aasan Pooja – worship of the seat
- Shir Pooja – worship of the head
- Padaan Pooja – worship of the feet
- Dwar Pooja – worship at the entrance
- Pushpa Pooja – offering flowers
- Vastra Pooja – offering clothes
- Deep Pooja – offering lamps
- Dhup Pooja – offering incense
- Phal Pooja – offering fruits
In some Jain traditions, the wording or order may be explained slightly differently, but the 9-fold worship remains the same. If you want, I can also give the Gujarati/Hindi names or the meaning of each of the 9 poojas.
