For a ghar derasar, generally:

• Jin Pooja: best done in the morning, after bathing and in a clean, शांत mind. It is usually done before meals and preferably after sunrise.
• Aarti: can be done in the morning and in the evening. Evening aarti is usually done before it gets too late, preferably before night rest and in a calm atmosphere.

Simple rule: Do both at a clean, peaceful, and regular time that suits your household routine, while keeping shuddhi, bhakti, and reverence.
