In Jain Dharma, ahimsa is not something to be taught by force, pressure, or conditions. If you say, “Agree first, then I will give money,” the act can become conditional influence rather than pure compassion.

From a Jain point of view:

• Ahimsa should be explained gently, with truth and respect.
• Dana should be given with a pure heart, not as a bargain.
• If money is given to buy agreement, it can create attachment, expectation, and even subtle violence in intention.
• Right guidance should come from karuna, vinaya, and satya, not coercion.

So the better Jain way is:

• speak about ahimsa sincerely,
• allow the person freedom to understand,
• and give charity without demanding agreement in return.

In short: teach, but do not pressure; give, but do not negotiate the soul.
