is hindu dharam better or worse than jain dharam?
From the Jain perspective, it is not appropriate to say any dharma is “better” or “worse” in a proud or disrespectful way.
Jain Dharma teaches:
- Aparigraha: non-attachment
- Ahimsa: non-violence
- Anekantavada: respect for multiple viewpoints
- Respect for all sincere spiritual paths
So, a Jain should not insult Hindu Dharma or claim superiority in a harsh way. Jain Dharma emphasizes self-purification, compassion, truth, and liberation through right faith, right knowledge, and right conduct.
If you want the Jain view, it holds that Jain Dharma is the path taught by the Tirthankars and is especially centered on strict ahimsa and moksha. But that should be expressed with humility, not as a statement that another dharma is bad.
A proper Jain attitude is: “I follow Jain Dharma as my path, and I respect the sincerity of other dharmic paths.”
