If others do so?
In Jain Dharma, one should not do something just because others are doing it. Action should be based on right understanding, ahimsa, satya, and self-restraint.
If others act wrongly, that does not make the action right. A Jain should examine:
- Is it non-violent?
- Is it truthful?
- Does it increase attachment or ego?
- Is it in harmony with vows and conduct?
So, follow Dharma, not crowd behavior.
