Iriyavahiya (also written Iryāpathikī or Iriyāvahī) means the confession/prayer for forgiveness of sins committed while moving about.
In Jain tradition, it is a short and sacred prayer used to seek forgiveness for any known or unknown harm done to living beings through:

- any movement of the body
Its spirit is:
- Ahimsa: avoiding injury to all जीव
- Vinay: humility

- Self-purification: cleansing faults through repentance
In simple words, Iriyavahiya means “forgive me for any violence or harm caused by my movement and daily activity.”
