Trishla mata na bhai?
Trishla Mata, also known as Queen Trishala, was the mother of Lord Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara in Jainism. According to Jain texts, Trishla Mata had 14 (according to Svetambara tradition) or 16 (according to Digambara tradition) auspicious dreams before the birth of Mahavira, which were interpreted as signs that a great soul was about to be born.
Regarding her family, Trishla Mata was the sister of King Chetaka of Vaishali. Her brothers included notable personalities such as:
- King Chetaka (the most prominent brother, ruler of Vaishali)
- Other brothers are mentioned in Jain texts, but King Chetaka is the most widely recognized.
Thus, Trishla Mata’s prominent brother was King Chetaka of Vaishali.
