What types of sharir do devas have and which is the most rare or not easy to get one

    2 months ago 18

    Answer

In Jain Dharma, devas mainly have the Vaikriya Sharir as their visible celestial body. They also have the Taijasa Sharir and the Karmana Sharir. They do not normally have the Audarika Sharir like humans and animals.

The most rare and difficult to obtain is generally considered the Aharaka Sharir.

    Explanation

Here is a simple view of the sharir:
    • Audarika Sharir
Gross physical body of humans, animals, and many beings.
    • Vaikriya Sharir
A subtle, changeable body. Devas and narakas naturally have this.
    • Aharaka Sharir
A very rare special body, formed only by a highly advanced Jain muni for a short time, usually for spiritual purposes.
    • Taijasa Sharir
    The fiery or energy body.
    • Karmana Sharir
The karmic body, carried by all worldly souls.

    Spiritual Understanding

In Jainism, the Aharaka Sharir is rare because it is not a common body. It appears only in exceptional spiritual conditions. This shows that as the soul becomes more pure and advanced, special spiritual capabilities may arise — but these are never to be desired for ego; they are only side effects of deep discipline and detachment.

    Takeaway

    • Devas mainly have Vaikriya Sharir
    • They also have Taijasa and Karmana Sharir
    • The rarest sharir is usually the Aharaka Sharir

If you want, I can also give you a full Jain list of all 6 sharir in a very easy table format.
