Y Simandhar swami worshiped more den other live tirthankars

    one year ago 103

In Jainism, Simandhar Swami is considered a living Tirthankar who resides in Mahavideh Kshetra, a different realm from our Bharat Kshetra (Earth). According to Jain scriptures, there are always Tirthankars present in the universe, and while there are currently no living Tirthankars on Earth, Simandhar Swami is one of the most revered living Tirthankars in Mahavideh Kshetra.

He is worshiped widely, especially among followers who believe that spiritual progress can be accelerated by connecting devotionally with a living Tirthankar. Since we do not have a Tirthankar currently present in our world, many devotees focus their prayers and rituals on Simandhar Swami as a way to remain connected with the living tradition of Tirthankars. This is one reason why he is worshiped more than other living Tirthankars, whose details may not be as well-known or accessible in Jain literature.

Worship of Simandhar Swami is particularly emphasized in some Jain sects, such as the followers of Shrimad Rajchandra and the Akram Vignan movement. They believe that devotion to Simandhar Swami can help in attaining liberation (moksha) by creating a spiritual link to a living Tirthankar.

To summarize: Simandhar Swami is worshipped more than other living Tirthankars because he is most well-known, accessible through scriptural references, and believed to be a current source of spiritual guidance for Jains seeking liberation, especially while there is no Tirthankar present in our own realm.
