Jainism teaches that the universe operates according to eternal, natural laws (such as the laws of karma and the principles of time, space, matter, and motion). No deity or god controls the movement of planets or the functioning of the cosmos. The Jain worldview is non-theistic and does not attribute cosmic control or intervention to any being, including the Tirthankaras (spiritual teachers) or devas.

Therefore, according to Jain philosophy, no god or divine being controls the planets or influences their movement. The universe is self-regulated and governed by its own intrinsic laws.
