Can you provide jain prayers that i can practice daily to realise my true nature of knower and seer ?

    Answer

Yes. In Jain Dharma, the best daily practice for realizing your true nature as the knower and seer is a combination of Namokar Mantra, आत्म-चिंतन, and silent meditation.

Here is a simple daily prayer practice you can use:

    1) Namokar Mantra Recite this with devotion:

    णमो अरिहंताणं णमो सिद्धाणं णमो आइरियाणं णमो उवज्झायाणं णमो लोए सव्वसाहूणं

Meaning: I bow to the Arihants, Siddhas, Acharyas, Upadhyayas, and all Sadhus.

    2) Prayer for Self-Realization After that, sit quietly and pray:

I bow to the pure soul within me. I am not the body, not the mind, not the emotions, and not the possessions. My true nature is to know and to see. May I remain steady in awareness of the आत्मा. May right faith, right knowledge, and right conduct awaken in me. May I become free from attachment and aversion. May I live as the pure, conscious soul.

    3) Daily Inner Reflection Repeat silently:

    • I am the knower and seer.
    • I am separate from karma.
    • I am pure consciousness.
    • I rest in the soul.

    ---

    Explanation

In Jainism, the soul’s real nature is knowledge and perception. When you repeatedly remember this, your awareness slowly turns inward.

    A good daily practice is:

    • Morning: Recite Namokar Mantra 9 or 27 times.
    • After prayer: Sit in silence for 5–10 minutes.
    • During the day: Whenever the mind becomes restless, repeat:
“I am the knower and seer.”
    • Evening: Offer Micchami Dukkadam in your heart and forgive all beings.

You may also use this short contemplation:

I am pure soul. I am eternal. I am the witness of thoughts and feelings. I am not disturbed by the changing states of the body and mind.

    ---

    Spiritual Understanding

This practice is powerful because Jain Dharma does not ask us to become something new. It asks us to remember what we already are.

    The soul is:

    • Chaitanya — conscious
    • Jnātā — knower
    • Drashta — seer

When you pray in this way, you are not only asking for blessings. You are training the mind to rest in self-awareness, which is the foundation of liberation.

    ---

    Takeaway

For daily practice, keep it simple:

    1. Namokar Mantra
    2. Silent reflection: “I am the knower and seer.”
    3. Micchami Dukkadam at night

If you do this with sincerity every day, your mind gradually turns inward toward the pure soul.
