Adinath bhagvan sons
According to Jain tradition, Adinath Bhagwan (also known as Rishabhanatha), the first Tirthankara, had two sons:
- Bharata Chakravarti
He became a Chakravarti (universal emperor) and is considered a significant figure in Jain history. The ancient name of India, "Bharatvarsha," is believed to be named after him.
- Bahubali
He is renowned for his intense meditation and ultimate attainment of Keval Jnana (omniscience). Bahubali is especially venerated for his victory over ego and his famous standing meditation (kayotsarga), as depicted in the colossal statue at Shravanabelagola.
Adinath Bhagwan also had many daughters, the most famous of whom is Brahmi and Sundari.
