Answer
Padam Prabhu, also called Bhagwan Padmaprabhu, was the 6th Tirthankar in Jain tradition. He was born in Kausambi in a royal family. From childhood, he had a शांत, detached, and compassionate nature. As he grew up, he understood that worldly pleasures, power, and comfort are temporary. So he renounced his royal life and became a monk. He then practiced कठोर तप, meditation, and self-discipline with deep faith.
Through this spiritual practice, he destroyed all karmas that bind the soul and attained Keval Gyan, or absolute knowledge. After that, he preached the Jain path of:
- Right Faith
- Right Knowledge
- Right Conduct
Finally, when his life ended and no karma remained, he attained moksha at Sammed Shikharji and became a Siddha, forever free from birth, death, and suffering.
