What happen whith the fire crwature if I light a candle, and after 2 hours ago I blow it out? Where do they come from, and where are they going after I blow out the candle?

    an hour ago 2

    Answer

In Jain Dharma, a candle flame is understood to contain fire-bodied living beings called tejas-kāyika jīvas. When you light the candle, you are not creating them from nothing. The flame becomes a support for those subtle living beings.

When you blow the candle out, the flame-form ends. Those beings do not disappear forever. They continue their journey in samsara according to their karma and may take another form elsewhere.

    Explanation

From the Jain point of view:
    • Fire-bodied beings already exist in subtle form.
    • A candle flame provides the condition for them to be present in that flame.
    • Blowing out the candle stops that particular flame, but the jīvas remain alive in their own subtle existence.
    • They then move on according to karmic law, just like other souls in Jain philosophy.

    So the idea is not:

    • “They are born from the candle,” or
    • “They vanish when the flame goes out.”

Rather, they are living souls using that flame-body temporarily.

    Spiritual Understanding

This teaching reminds us of ahimsa, non-violence in thought, word, and action.

In Jain Dharma, even very small forms of life matter. That is why we are encouraged to:

    • avoid unnecessary burning,
    • use fire carefully,
    • and maintain awareness and compassion in daily life.

A candle may seem small to us, but Jain philosophy teaches us to respect all forms of life, even subtle ones.

    Takeaway

The fire beings do not come from nowhere and do not go nowhere. They are living souls connected with the fire element, and when the candle is blown out, they continue their journey according to karma.

If you want, I can also explain this in simple Hindi or Gujarati, or tell you how Jain texts describe tejas-kāya more deeply.
