Answer
What you are doing is good and meaningful in Jain Dharma. Going to the mandir every day, doing darshan, chanting the Namokar Mantra, and offering vandan is a beautiful sādhana even if your mind is not fully stable right now.Explanation
In Jain practice, outer discipline is important, but inner bhāva is also very important.- Daily darshan builds a strong spiritual habit.
- Namokar Mantra protects the mind and creates purity.
- Vandan shows humility and respect.
- Even if you sometimes do not count perfectly, your intention still has value.
If the mind is restless, do not feel discouraged. A wandering mind is common. The important thing is that you keep coming back to the practice.
You can धीरे-धीरे improve by doing a few simple things:
- Enter the mandir with a short calm intention
- Chant Namokar Mantra slowly
- If the mind wanders, bring it back without frustration
- Count only when you can, but do not become anxious about counting
- Focus more on bhāva than on speed or quantity
Spiritual Understanding
In Jain Dharma, regularity is itself a form of strength. Even when the mind is unstable, continuing the path shows sincerity.Your daily darshan is not wasted. It is creating inner samskāra. Slowly, with patience and consistency, the mind becomes steadier.
What matters most is:
- Faith
- Regular practice
- Humility
- Effort without ego
A peaceful mind comes gradually. The very act of showing up every day is a spiritual victory.
