    Spiritual Understanding

In Jain Dharma, tyag means giving up something to control desires and purify the soul. For kids, Paryushan tyag should be simple, joyful, and suitable for their age. The main goal is to become more kind, calm, honest, and disciplined.

    Takeaway

A good Paryushan tyag for kids is not only about giving up food items, but also giving up anger, lies, fighting, and laziness while increasing prayer, kindness, and forgiveness.
