how to know if im bhavya soul and whn will i go to moksha bevuae i do puja with devotion lots

    19 hrs ago 2

    Answer

In Jain Dharma, a bhavya jiva is a soul that has the capacity to attain moksha. But we usually cannot know with certainty, “I am definitely bhavya” or “I will attain moksha at this exact time.”

Doing puja with deep devotion is very good. It can purify feelings, reduce negative tendencies, and strengthen faith. But moksha depends not only on puja, but on the destruction of karmas through:

    • Samyak Darshan – right faith
    • Samyak Jnan – right knowledge
    • Samyak Charitra – right conduct

These three together are called Ratnatraya, the Three Jewels.

    Explanation

A person may do puja with devotion, but Jain Dharma teaches that external worship should gradually lead to inner transformation:

    • Less anger
    • Less ego
    • Less deceit
    • Less greed
    • More compassion
    • More detachment
    • More awareness of the soul
    • More desire for liberation rather than worldly pleasures

These are good signs that devotion is becoming spiritually fruitful.

But the exact time of moksha cannot be predicted for an ordinary soul. Only a Kevaljnani knows the full state of karmas.

    Spiritual Understanding

Instead of worrying, “When will I get moksha?”, Jain Dharma guides us to ask:

    • Am I reducing attachment and hatred?
    • Am I becoming more peaceful?
    • Am I following ahimsa in thought, speech, and action?
    • Am I doing puja to purify my soul, not just to get worldly benefits?
    • Am I trying to understand the true nature of the soul?

If your puja increases humility, purity, forgiveness, and detachment, then it is helping you move toward moksha.

    Takeaway

Your devotion is valuable, but moksha comes through inner purification and the Three Jewels: right faith, right knowledge, and right conduct. Do puja with love, but also work on reducing passions and living with ahimsa, truth, restraint, and detachment. That is the real path toward liberation.
