    Answer

Vama Mata was the mother of Bhagwan Parshvanath, the 23rd Tirthankar of Jain Dharma. She is remembered with great respect because she gave birth to a great soul who later became a Tirthankar and showed the path of ahimsa, truth, restraint, and liberation.

Short Jain Speech on Vama Mata

    Respected teachers and dear friends,

    Jai Jinendra.

Today, I would like to speak about Vama Mata, the revered mother of Bhagwan Parshvanath, the 23rd Tirthankar of Jain Dharma.

Vama Mata was the queen of King Ashvasen of Varanasi. She was a noble, virtuous, and spiritually blessed mother. In Jain tradition, the mother of a Tirthankar holds a very special place because she becomes the medium through whom a great soul takes birth in this world.

Bhagwan Parshvanath was born to Vama Mata and King Ashvasen. From his life, we learn the importance of compassion, non-violence, forgiveness, and detachment. These values are the foundation of Jain Dharma.

Vama Mata’s life reminds us that a mother’s purity, values, and devotion play an important role in shaping the life of a child. She is respected not only as a royal mother, but as the mother of a Tirthankar who guided countless souls toward the path of moksha.

On remembering Vama Mata, we should also remember the virtues of motherhood, faith, simplicity, and good sanskar.

Let us bow with respect to Vama Mata and Bhagwan Parshvanath.

    Jai Jinendra.

    Takeaway

Vama Mata teaches us the importance of purity, good values, and devotion in life. Her greatest glory is that she was the mother of Bhagwan Parshvanath, one of the most revered Tirthankars in Jain Dharma.
